Throughout the school year in Studio Art, I have created numerous artworks. I believe that most of my artworks are based on the theme of "observation" of daily life objects, landscapes, people, and animals. During this process, I tried many different ways of creating art, but I would say the most rewarding was using watercolor because it was a lot easier to manage and play around with than I expected. The medium that I would say was the most challenging to work with is chalk because it was dusty. When I was creating my artwork (the panda), it would smudge and get messy, which made it hard to fix mistakes. Through my artworks, I hope my audience will appreciate the details and find it aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

When I was 6 my little brother was born, and it was all my little self could talk about. I remember wanting to carry and feed him all the time, it was like he was my very own alive doll. When I started growing up and becoming more mature, I realized that we have one of the most pure and strongest relationships there is. But why? I wondered to myself. I discovered that we were the happiest when all we had was each other’s presence. Starting this investigation, I asked myself: How do the seemingly small moments I share with my brother reveal the depth and joy that make our relationship better?

Since an early age, I have been captivated by the capacity of graphic novels to synthesize visual art and narrative. I am interested in how the freedom of artistic expression can be used to construct complex characters and stories that deliver nuanced messages through subtle interactions and reactive subtext. My best development is in digital art, bought new tools and discovered new techniques to polish my talent. It took longer than expected but in my opinion it all turned out great. Why cars? Well I have been obsessed with them ever since I was a child. Watching the 'Cars' movie with my father as a child put me in this fight. I wanted to take inspiration from nature to make my artworks. This blend of nature and machinery is something that for me has produced some of the most iconic cars out there and I wanted to do that while doing something I like.

My art collection this year focuses on familiar, everyday objects or aspects reportrayed through my own creative lens. By taking scenes that people have experienced before, like a circus performance or an ukulele, I aim to present them in a way that shows my unique touch. Throughout this journey, I found working with colored pencils to be rewarding because of the detail and textures I can easily achieve in my instrumental artworks, for example. On the other hand, working with oil pastels was my biggest challenge since they have a buttery, thick nature that requires lots of patience I lack. I hope that when the audience views my work, they feel a sense of familiarness and curiosity as they recognize all my subjects. My goal is for viewers to think about how even the most common images can be transformed into something unique if you add your own touch.

Most of my artwork reflects my own ideas. My paintings depict emotions, plants, animals, and sports. The idea of a mouse playing badminton was quite bold, because I personally enjoy playing badminton. When my teacher asked us to draw a mouse, I didn't just think of a mouse eating cheese; I imagined a mouse playing badminton ,it's was amazing. In my opinion, the best painting I made is the four-leaf clover. To avoid a monotonous background, I added some circles. Actually, most of my paintings are rather simple.

Throughout this year I felt I had more liberty than last year to create things in my image through my preference. Starting with printmaking I could make both expresive being the brain and an artwork of my own preferences being the car. In ceramics with the roman soldier, (although it has the helmet of a spartan soldier), I feel I could connect with my heritage and with my love of history.

It doesn't matter how the art looks the most important thing is the meaning you give it. The central theme of my collection is feelings and memories. Through my artwork, I try to capture emotions that people experience in everyday life and connect them to personal memories and moments that stay with us over time. Many of my pieces are inspired by emotions that are difficult to explain with words, so I use art as a way to express them visually. I want each piece to feel personal and meaningful, almost like a memory frozen in time.

The medium I found most rewarding this year was painting. Working with paint allowed me to experiment with colors, textures, and different techniques to better express emotion and atmosphere in my work. At the same time, it was also one of the most challenging mediums because painting requires patience and careful decision-making. Learning how to blend colors, create depth, and communicate emotion through brushstrokes pushed me to improve as an artist and helped me become more confident in my creative process.

When people look at my art, I want them to feel connected to it in their own way. I hope the audience looks beyond what they first see on the surface and takes time to discover a deeper meaning within each piece. I want my work to make people reflect on their own emotions, memories, and experiences, so that everyone can interpret the art differently and create a personal connection with it. This school year, I felt connected to things that have a special meaning or vision in my life. Colors, Legos, Barbie house, integrity, bows, and sunflowers have a deep meaning for me since my childhood till today, because special people have made me love them and have shown them to me as a sign of specialty. Growing up, I realized all these things are things I am always surrounded by, and in my mind, every time I think of something memorable, I'm proud I got to show some of my favorite things and values in drawings.

The central theme of my art collection is creating animals and nature. I love capturing the fun personalities of different animals and the unique shapes found in nature. Throughout the year, I experimented with many different styles, but working with acyrlic paint was the one enjoyed because mixing bright colors made my artwork pop. On the other hand, focusing on realistic shading with pencil was the most challenging because it took a lot of patience to get the details right. The central theme of my art collection is showing how cool everyday objects can look when you use bright colors. This year, I moved from drawing with pencils to painting with really bright colors, which was a fun change. I found painting to be the most rewarding part of class because I loved making the backgrounds pop, like the bright yellow behind my macarons. The hardest part was definitely the sunflower because I had to be super careful with all the tiny details in the petals. When people look at my work, I want them to feel happy and excited because of all the vibrant colors I chose. I also wanted to show some action, like with my painting of the trapeze artist in the circus. Overall, my portfolio shows how I’ve learned to use different tools to make my art stand out.

The central theme of my anrtworks is the concept of my blurry memories and how time changes our memories of the past, and also based on my color preferences. I am interested in the lines between reality and imagination. Working with different techniques and mixed media was especially great because it gave me the freedom to change or avoid traditional forms. I want the audience to feel a little of confusion and question some of my artworks, I want them to feel different, as if they are in a dream. My goal is for viewers to question their own memories. These pieces represent an adventure through the mind.

I created a lot of art over the past school year and this art collection is some of it. It shows how I learned shapes and colors. My central theme is observing everyday objects. The central theme of my collection is things that personally make me feel good. One of the mediums I found most rewarding is acrylic paint. It dries really fast and picks up the paint from the layers, making it difficult to fix mistakes, but overall I learned from mistakes, and it became easier to work with. This year, I have created a lot of artworks. My theme focuses on items found inside a box, specifically elegant and delicate objects. The mediums I use most are acrylic paint, pencils, and chalk. I have found paint to be the most challenging medium, as it requires the right brush for details, precise color mixing, and a lot of patience. In some pieces, I enjoy using mixed media. For example, the drawing of the black and white desk in pencil, with the rose painted in red acrylic. I am very satisfied with how these artworks turned out. When the audience views my drawings, I want them to feel a sense of comfort, familiarity, and pure enjoyment.

Throughout this 2025-2026 school year , I have learned a lot from Ms . Medina . My central theme is making my artworks clean , simple , likely to the public , that a simple artwork that seems that its not that big of a thing , its actually a big thing . Through the year I encountered myself in some challenges like applying some techniques that I found challenging like , shading and using the correct color in my pieces .

I think the audience when they see my artwork they will be somehow attracted to my artwork , because of its versatility its unique and likable and seems simple but it has a amazing meaning .

Throughout the school year, in Studio Art, I learned various techniques that I not only used in this class but even in real life. The ability that I learned to have patience, trust the process and pay attention to even the most little things is very important. At the beginning of the year, I completed the 7 artworks of the elements of art "the cherries". Also, I learned the shadings which is the airplane one. Then, in semester 2 I started to experiment with animals with clothing and doing like "personifcation to them" I also started to learn about the artists and also experimented with 3d and also architectural spaces. I experimented with clay.

Being sincere at the begining of the year on Studio Art, I really didnt like this class. But throughout the year ive learned many things maybe I didnt know before. On my artworks I was really inspired by my favorite things. Like pokemon, zelda, plants, and even animals. This school year, I have specifically focused on making drawings mostly about animals. This is just because I feel like they're easier to draw and they look good, so for my print I created a Dachshund artwork. Also talking about animals, I created this rat which was very well hidden in some small pillars. And lastly, I chose this drawing from my booklet, which is an average hedgehog. While I didn't like the result of my booklet as a whole, I liked this drawing the most.

Throughout these year I have learned many things. Since the beginning of the year I wasn’t very good at drawing. Still I am not that good, but I have been drawing better. I am glad to all the things I did these year. Throughout the year, I’ve made so many great pieces of art using all kinds of cool styles, like animal printmaking, hand-drawn traditional "MATE" cups, bright tape collages, and fun clay sculptures. While each piece has its own unique look, the most important part to me isn't just how they turned out, but the experiences I gained and the skills I learned along the way. Even though I am leaving, these artworks will always remind me of the great moments, laughs, and creative ideas I shared with my friends in the art room, keeping those wonderful memories alive.

So basically, these are some of the art projects we worked on in 8th-grade art class, and they actually turned out pretty cool. The first piece is a gold and black print of a golf ball on a tee that looks super dramatic with all that sharp grass. Then there's a vibrant collage face using magazine cutouts and a random sketchbook page covered in watches, phones, and funny speech bubbles. We also made a mini clay sculpture with bold colors and a cool black bear silhouette to stick on the wall.

I was born in Caracas and I moved to Valencia at the age of 5. With time and recurrent visits to the city after moving, I have learnt to grow identified and belonging to it. My artworks are an attempt to depict Caracas' cultural talismans such as the Ávila mountain for a natural symbol and the quiet watchman that grew up with the city, El Hatillo's red roofs, honoring the city's history and nickname "La ciudad de los techos rojos" (the city of the red roofs), the Palacio de Justicia in Bolívar Avenue as a reminder to the city and the Venezuela's political background, and a Esfera de Soto model to represent Caracas' artistic scene. The medium I found the most challenging was paint, but I managed to do a job I was proud of for the Ávila painting. My work is the expression of my identity as a native to the city and my love for it is conveyed in my portfolio.

This year, my art collection focused more on the 3D, separating from the traditional mediums like paper and canvas. I wanted to show creativity and improvisation with these non-traditional materials, such as wire, copper, yarn, cardboard, and wood. My biggest challenge was coming up with designs out of materials I wasn't familiar with for example, When people see my art iwant them to see that u dont need traditional to be creative, sometimes you just get bored of the same and what to experiment, test and have fun with new things.

During this school year I've done multiple artworks, and although not all of them may relate, the meaning behind each of them collide. Each artwork tries to illustrate the process of feeling, feeling pain, pressure, sadness, and even love at some degree. Colors and shapes have been a key element of each of my artworks, for emotions and ideas are being transmit\ed trough them in most works. The point, and my main idea was to show feelings and simple things in a different way, they are simple, but at the same time different, showing and representing the different ways to feel and see life.

My art journey this year has been really unique, what I like to do is to make my artworks about something I care about or like while adding my own twist, this makes it so that my artworks are very recognizable, but my magnum opuses have been the clay sculptures, I just feel free when I am sculpting, I enjoy a 3D canvas more than a 2D one, I have always had good ideas and inspiration but I never knew how to translate that into a sheet of paper, but introduce a 3rd plane and I don't even need a reference, though I doubt that I'll ever take an art class ever again, I think that this year was a good enough way to conclude my CIC artistic journey.

My art collection is about nature, animals, and the deep feelings we experience inside. I used different tools this year, including paint, black ink pens, and real pieces of wood. Painting the animals helped me show a sense of freedom and peace. However, drawing the intricate patterns on the leopard and building the fish out of sticks was a big challenge. My favorite piece shows a person wrapped in measuring tape to express how stressful it feels to constantly judge ourselves. I want people to look at my artwork and think about how they connect to the world around them. Sharing these pieces takes a lot of courage, but I hope they make viewers stop and reflect on their own lives.

A broad topic is a general subject for example "animal abuse" and a focused question of inquiry is a question more specific that opens the topic more like "how do animals suffer abuse by humans on a daily basis". When it comes to my topic I would say that my topic is The Complex Relationship Between Parental Influence, and my inquiry question would be "how does a challenging home environment and parental style might influence a child's life".

Throughout this year my creativity has been focused on one mayor thing, and that is my emotions. I don like expressing how I feel so I found a way to do it through my art. Painting is something that I found a passion for this year and I really enjoy it, it doesn’t take much effort, it’s simple, and it helps you get you point across. Most of my artworks have a deeper meaning to them, depending on what i’m going through. I enjoyed this year since in a creative manner, I was able to let myself go while I was painting, drawing and sketching and it’s something i’ve gotten attached to. Art, creativeness and the happiness it brings is what makes me pour all my feelings into a canvas.
