A little girl and her bestfriend are trying to survive WWll without the Nazi's finding out that Ellen (the bestfriend) is jewish. When Ellen's family found out that the Nazi's were going for the jews now, they seperated to throw the Nazi's off track. Ellen went to live with her bestfriend (Annmarie). Kristi was the typical annyoin little sister. Kristi always annyoned Annemarie and Ellen, but Annemarie had to deal with her little sister because the Nazi's had banished many things away.
