This follows about what we learned about how the Europeans saw the natives as uncivilized and animals that need to be taught.

Imperialism deserves a bad rap because the Europeans invaded a neutral country and took everything they had just to make themselves more rich and powerful. This is an act of being greedy and they portrayed the Natives as an animal and uncivilized. They took resources causing the countries they invaded to be poor and they did not accept different people around the world but instead portrayed them as animals and uncivilized just because they were not industrial countries. The Europeans also changed and tried to rework their systems such as them making them attend school houses. The Europeans changed the Natives and changed them to Christians which damaged their culture and they made the Natives split up or a disunity among the Natives which caused Africa to be split up into areas such as South Africa. There were rebellions though, a group called the Boxer Rebellion from China rose up against the Europeans, they killed many Europeans and they slowed the Europeans down from setting up their Spheres of Influence. They stripped the Natives supplies such as oil, gas, iron, and gold. In conclusion, the Age of Imperialism deserves a bad rap as they took all of the Natives resources, damaged their culture by wanting to change them, made different Native tribes fight each other, and portrayed the as non-human, animals, and uncivilized.
