It was the first language I learned over time I learned English. It wasn't very easy at first so I mostly spoke Spanish. As I grew people always thought I didn't speak Spanish so they would talk about how ugly and fat I was but I never let anything get me. My parents were always telling me to ignore the haters. It was just because I had little colored eyes and sometimes I just hated them so much I would put my head down.

Of course she spoke two languages too. But I was helping her with her application and I saw she put bilingual so I asked her what it was. She told me it was when a person talked more than one language. Being bilingual was an advantage for her she could understand both English and Spanish. One of the reasons she got her job was because being bilingual.

This relates to the theme because it's showing that it can be important to speak two languages. So my dad always asked if we could teach him because he had his own business and needed to sell to others. He started learning little by little because he always heard me and my sister talking English. Still standing today and he knows words I don't even know.
