She knows she must defeat the Darkling once and for all, but that also means she will most likely lose herself completely along the way. This is prequel series to the "Shadow and Bone" series, so it takes place in the same world. There is a high stakes heist, and even Kaz Brekker, a prodigy in all things criminal related knows he can't pull this off alone.  A ban of misfits (six to be exact) is formed, but they might not be able to hold is together to even be able to pull it off.
