         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the UCAS event I have looked over different universities that I may have interest in. Asked some question about the courses such as fine art and design craft. The event itself was interesting and had variety of universities with similar subjects such as; Fine art, Graphic Design, Media Studies. I found out the Ucas points that I needed to enter for each university, also received some books with a lot of information that I could see throw. The staffs were really friendly and they each represented their university and they all explained how it is to be a first year university student and what you expect it to be like.</div><div><br></div><div>My initial reaction was impressed as how there was many students around also excited because they were from different backgrounds and diversity countries. The event was organised good but sometimes it was really confusing as there were so many and some university had more than one place because of the different subject or media that they are promoting and presenting. The entry was secure and well organised but it was a bit messy because of the people coming in. The event itself was a bit useful but it couldn’t change my mind for a long time, it was just for the time being there. I have visited some universities such as Leeds, UAL and others, I have visited this universities because I wanted to go far from my family and experience life without them and learn how to be responsible of myself also I checked the entrance requirement and mostly they wanted a Merit or Distinction however the main thing the would see is the portfolio&nbsp;<br>All staffs were helpful on giving me the information that I asked for and gave me a bag with books that could give me extra information that could persuade me in going to university.&nbsp;</div><div>The most helpful piece of advice I gained from the day is one of the staffs told me to carefully choose a subject that I actually enjoy and do not rush anything, and if taking a gap year will help then to go ahead with it.</div>]]></description>
