When I taught 3rd grade I used to play the games offered by ECB digital book and the students really liked them. By the end of each unit, there was a designated game which was a fun way to end up the unit.
Now I teach high school and we still play - quizlet live, quiziz, kahoot. The students love those games and feel motivated to participate.

I am very happy and pleased when I managed to use computer games\digital tools during my lesson. I know how much it is important to change the lesson old type and let the students the chance to learn through modern and fun way. I can see their excitement and participation. My past experience when I used computer game in my class - was when I created a kahoot questionnaire and one of my weaker students (who never participates in a regular lesson) was delighted and won the game!! at the end of the lesson he came to me and told me how fun the lesson was. Then, I decided to use as much as I can games\digital tools more often :)

I realize by reading what the other teachers have written how technolgically challenged I am, but I suppose part of the problem is that I don't teach at a regular school and don't have access to the programs that the other teachers do. Having read what the other teachers wrote I realize how much more I could be offering my students by having access to the different computer programs. By having access I mean that the schools pay for the programs and not the indvidual teachers. Although relying on the use of ready made computer games takes away from the creativity of the teacher in inventing new ways to help the students succeed at learning the language., the reality is that students respond better and mostly enjoy themselves more when I use computer games to reinforce the new words vocabulary learned. During the lesson the students have to interact with me as well while playing the game.
Quizlet uses a variety of activities t help the students learn and remember the words and most of my students love/enjoy using this program.
In summary I think that the students will be benefit from the experience of using computer games available now, however there also needs to be some interaction with the other students (if it is a group) or the teacher.

I enjoy using computer games in the classroom. I use quizlet live a lot. Something interesting that I do: I let my best students put the words on quizlet. I didn't think of this before, but when I did I had a "eureka" moment: let the students do the "work" -- it gives them a feeling of confidence, and they really enjoy it. For our Purim pajama party, one of my best students mad a Kahoot game which had a question about every student. It was amazing and so much fun. The best part was that the students made it themselves. On the other hand, I must say that we have to find a good balance between using games and "regular" learning.

Hi My name is Tali Shitrit. I consider my self as a technological challenged, so I am afraid of using computer during lessons, and it doesn’t matter if it is for games or not. Also, because I am afraid that the class would lose control, and it will get to disciplinary management. I need to be in control.

I think that using computer games in a classroom is great. However, you need to have basic things in order to do it. For example: Computers that work well. Enough computers for at least 1 computer foe every 2-3 students. An internet connection that is suitable for the school and strong enough to support the games. a list of specific games that were checked ahead of time. etc..
Unfortunately, in my school there are a lot of things lacking
from what I wrote above. so I don't use computer games on a normal base. Occasionally,
I will show them something or play a game that is the learning book.

Using computer to engage the student in learning English works phenomenaly!
I try to get the compter once a week for each class I teach, some due to the schedual get them once in two weeks.
The main obstacles are tech issues such as bad internet connection and out of battery laptops going along with classes not bringing back the cart on time.

It is great for teacing tools they can continue working on at home. Great for allowing students to works on their own paste and aloowing me to give more attention to those that need it.

I like using computers in the clssroom. I use computers to teach during the lesson and also to practice diffrent tasks I give my pupils. We also have Tablets at school that the pupils sometimes use and practice vocabulry. I really like it because it gives them instant feesback.
Anothe thing is the fact that I see that my pupils like to participate in the games, it attracts them, they learn in indirect way. it also helps the weaker learners to participate and learn in a fun way.
