Some of the rules we have for this class is there is absolutely no cheating in the class or your assignment or test will result in as a zero. We try and refrain from using spanish dictionary/google translate and try to use our own knowledge with our assignments. No food or sugary beverages are allowed in the class. 
In the class as well we have been reviewing how to say our alphabets in spanish and finding words that start with the letter of our alphabets. In class our test and projects are worth 40%. Our classwork homework is worth 30%. our quizzes are worth 30%. We are not allowed to eat or drink anything other than water. we can only use our school computers to do work, no personal laptops/ipads. our lunch is from 11:35-12:05. if you use spanishdict or any other translators on an assignment it will be considered invalid.

So every day we will complete a calentamiento, which is collected every two weeks. Classwork/homework is worth 30% of our grades as well as Quizzes. Tests/Projects are worth 40%. Also if you miss any quizzes they need to be completed before or during R time with permission. Any work missed while absent has a 3 day grace period. Right now we are reviewing Spanish 1 basics, like the alphabet pronunciations. Some of the rules that we have for our classroom is that you cannot use your own personal computer in class for assignments. You also can't eat food or sugary drinks, as well as having earbuds in your ears during class. Senorita Mercado does not allow late work, and it will be taken as a 0. If you need to make up work, you can do it during R-Time which is from 8:30 - 9:10. Before she puts the grade in, she will use a 0 as a placeholder in PowerSchool. Make sure your computer is fully charged and bring it to class every day. There are many rules and expectations you need to follow to ensure that your time in this class is as productive and efficient as it can be. These some of Ms. Mercados classroom rules are that every student has to follow. Every student has to have Respect and accept Responsibility which are also rules in the Code of Conduct. Test/Projects are worth 40% and Quizzes and Classwork, Homework, Class Participation are worth 30% of your grade. Any type of late work is not allowed if you do turn in work late you will get a 0%.If you have to make up a test or quiz you have 3 days to make it up and you will have to make it up from 8:30am- 9:00am.
