Saul was a man known as a Zealot, A pharisee belonged to a Jewish family privileged of having a Jewish education, who prosecuted followers of Jesus and believers of Christianity. Saul journeyed to Damascus to prosecute followers and was blinded by a strong light who helped him turn to Christianity. Saul was intrigued and determined to spread the way to Gentiles, Saul became an accepting man who dedicated himself to christian values spreading the good to people on distant Missionary Journeys. He spent the rest of his life preaching the Gospel and displayed them. This was significant because Saul previously hated Christians, and we wouldn't have the most popular religion today if it wasn't for Saul's decision.

St Paul’s second missionary journey lasted for three years from 49 AD to 52 AD. Firstly, he set out overland through Syria and Cillicia, to accompany churches he had earlier established in Asia, and that's when Mark joined him at Lystra. ( Acts 16:1-5) Then they continued to Phrygia and Galatia. (Acts 16:6) Then Paul wanted to travel through Bithynia, however, They tried to enter Bithynia, but The Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas." (Acts 16:7-8). Paul and Mark were in a dispute at the time, so Paul chose Silas who he had not traveled with before. They embarked on their journey starting in Troas, where Paul received a vision calling him to Macedonia where he preached. (Acts 16:9-40, 17:1-14). Paul and Silas were often opposed of those who didn't believe, and Paul was jailed. Paul and his partner headed off to Corinth for a year. After successfully spreading the word of Christ to Jews and Romans, Paul went to Ephesus, then onto Jerusalem to observe Pentecost as it was something Paul had not seen before (Acts 18:18-21). After this, Paul and Silas went to Caesarea to visit a Church then travelled back to Syrian Antioch (Acts 18:21-22).

Paul faced many cultural challenges whilst he displayed and acted upon gospel values on his missionary journeys. He was faced with much conflict regarding to circumcision. As Paul preached, he spoke about not needing to be circumcised as everyone has there own beliefs. You dont have too perform circumcision as it shouldn't something that shows your commitment into serving the lord as there are other ways. The Jews however, believe its essential you must be circumcised as apart of religion. Paul states if you fulfill the fruits of the spirit and carry each others Burdens, you will Satisfy Christs law and thus will make him happy. (Galatians 6:2) Paul also explains that everybody must love each other no matter there religion and rituals. (Galatians 5:14)

After Paul finished and returned after his three missionary journeys, he wrote fourteen epistles that held different themes. Paul had five main themes throughout his epistles. The Cross and Christ’s Death, The Resurrection of the Body, Righteousness and Salvation, hope and joy, the body of Christ and Christians. Overall, the main message that came across in these letters after Paul's conversation suggests that you must follow God. These letters continue to inspire many Christians all over the world today.
