She took him to her remote cabin, where her obsession with Paul takes a darker turn once she finds out he is killing off one of her favorite characters in the novel. Paul tries to find ways to escape her, but has to go through a lot to make it out. 

This book is long, but the thrilling plot is what kept me hooked. This is how I realized I am drawn to books with a jump scaring plot. All too soon she’s faced with what is going to be one of the greatest losses of her life, and is filled with regret. 

This book was a book opened my eyes on how nothing is forever. Just like Ronnie, I have had many conflicts with my parents. Only to cross paths in the future. But with the good of finding eachother, comes a heart breaking story of how their lives together turn out. 

This book made me realize how much effort a person will put in with you, if they truly care. Nowadays people give up way too easily, and loose good things that could have been something. No matter the things he’s done in the past to Mandy, she lets that subside as she falls in love with him as well. 

I enjoyed this book, because it taught me there is always two sides to people. Shane West who was a high school bully, found his true self who was kind, and showed love for others, all by meeting one girl. They fall in love and go on adventures to fill in the gap in their lives. Facing the thought of knowing they may not wake up the next morning. 

Hazel and Gus have very short lives, due to their cancer, but they didn’t let that stop them from doing the things they love, and go on adventures. I am fortunately very lucky to have the heath that I have, and admired even through their illness, they could still make the most out of their lives.
