I am currently taking the STEM Pre-Science strand at Ateneo de Davao Senior High School. 

1. I chose this track because it aligned most with my future career in the medical field. Furthermore, it would prepare me for my future college courses and subjects that I would have to take.

For college, I would try to apply for a nursing degree in the 6-year program at the Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF). However, due to my scholarship at Ateneo de Davao University, I may still continue to study within the institution. In that case, I would pursue a degree in BS psychology, as it aligns with my career objectives. 

While studying in college, I will prioritize balancing my academics, extracurricular activities, and personal life. Furthermore, I will also start saving and finding ways to earn money through errands or side jobs to gain my own small source of income. 

1. Additionally, I should also study advanced general psychology to gain a thorough introduction to the fundamental concepts of psychology. 

2. Moreover, to align with my career objectives, I should focus on studying developmental psychology, which involves understanding human development from infancy to old age. Moreover, studying abnormal psychology will help me take note of mental disorders that an individual may develop. Lastly, focusing on biological psychology will also help me examine the biological foundations of behavior.

Afterwards, I will source out a location where I can pursue a medical degree outside the Philippines. Preferably, I would like to study in Singapore or Europe. However, in the Philippines, I would apply to the University of the Philippines College of Medicine or the Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF), as Ateneo de Davao does not have a medical school. 

To pursue my career objectives, I am required to complete medical school, have a one-year internship. I will continue to study efficiently and focus on the next steps of my career.

Afterwards, I aim to pass the licensure exam and complete a three-year residency in pediatrics or psychiatry, earning board certification. Overall, I hope to achieve these goals and pursue a medical career specializing in either psychiatry or developmental studies in my chosen location, with the aim of helping individuals who are in greatest need.
