A majority of the people (90% of the population there) residing in Saudi Arabia is Arab. The other 10% consists of mainly Indonesian, Indian, Turkish, Iranians and some mixed. Before a major oil boom occurred, the small diverse 10% was hardly existing. The oil boom caused people from different backgrounds migrated due to the economic opportunities. Saudi Arabia doesn't have a very diverse population which is a factor of closed minded people. This is important because people are not as accepting of other cultures.
