The Jewish citizens in Germany were sent to camps because they were seen as threats, similarly to the Japanese Citizens in America.

My second connection is the government in both events. Even throughout WWII, it is said many times that the government was ruining peoples lives. In Germany, they made Jewish shop owners close their facilities and sell everything cheap, or just throw it away.
