One connection I can make right off of the bat is the discrimination and unfair treatment of citizens for their race/religion. The Jewish citizens in Germany were sent to camps because they were seen as threats, similarly to the Japanese Citizens in America.

My second connection is the government in both events. Even throughout WWII, it is said many times that the government was ruining peoples lives. In Germany, they made Jewish shop owners close their facilities and sell everything cheap, or just throw it away. In America, a very similar thing happened where the Japanese were forced to close their shops and sell everything for cheaper prices.

One of two connections I can make was that they were putting them into camps that were in no form able to supply people’s needs, plus the officers could just shoot every one that acted suspicious.

The second thing is that their farms were destroyed by people against their culture, like the Germans did with the Jews shops.

The internment camps were pretty similar to the concentration camps in Germany just not as brutal.
- Like the Jews, the Japanese Americans were not told where they were going and why.
- Also these were acts targeting one race which made them both racist acts.
