Norms：
Norms are the codes of conduct that every citizen should abide by.

Social norms:
are behaviours that societies expect members of their societies in particular societies e.g dresscodes and relationships of young people

Examples:
In Nigeria one of the largest ethnic groups the ebo people are known for their hospitality. 
In the UAE the social values are influenced by islamic values. From eating etiquette to greetings and hospitality. Another example would be the Athan (call to prayer), it might surprising to expats or tourists.

Norms
A common phenomenon of standards of conduct that people collectively agree to and adhere to. These standards contain a moral connotation and are standards that are generally regarded as "right" and "should" and to be followed, whether or not they are useful or valid.
Example:
In Addis Ababa
respect for one another is really important. Especially respecting older people. for example, if an older person is standing on the bus or so we have to leave the seat to the older person. 
The other number of our group is in HK and China it has the same situation.
We have different time mindsets about the time with a different history culture
