Introduction ;
I ask myself whether globalization will lead us to one universal culture and have come to the conclusion that cultural specificity will always win out. While we can't deny that countries share more similarities then before, my experiences in Japan have taught me the degree to which this country resists the influences of globalisation. Allow me to make a case study of Japan.

INTRODUCTION:
The question we can ask ourselves today is whether there is a standardization of cultures or not. We believe there is. Cultural standardization is promoted by the media's amplification of the exchanges and flows of information.

In France, where we are from, lifestyles have become increasingly homogenized, resembling the American model in particular. This is true in the case of fashion, cafes, even relationships.

If we look closely, the Americanisation of France dates back to the second half of the twentieth century, notably with the Marshall Plan. In recent years, we have noticed that the habits of the French have changed and are resembling those of the Americans. We can speak of the many people here who eat at fast-food restaurants or adhere to the American way of life and its capitalistic ideology. The American music industry has had a huge impact upon France's, particularly with RAP. Artists such as 2Pac and SnoopDog brought a new kind of sound as well as their convictions to fight racism which has spread in France.
With the advent of Netflix and social media our daily life has surreptitiously become Americanised. We use products and services from the US everyday - MacDonalds, Iphones ,Uber, Nikes - and the fact that we don't realize it anymore is the proof that our French culture is gradually diluting.
