The book that I recommend is Thresholds which is by Nina Kiriki Hoffman, the two genres of Thresholds are Fantasy and Fiction. The setting of Thresholds is Spores Ferry, Oregon and most of the story the characters are indoors. In the book there are multiple characters but the main characters name is Maya. The conflict of this book was how Maya didn't like this egg like thing that got stuck inside of her hand but she had nothing to really do about it. Lastly, the plot of the book is how Maya moves from Idaho to Oregon and at first things are weird to Maya.
If you like Fantasy or Fiction books, this is the book for you!

The setting of the story mainly takes place on the sea's and moving from town to town. The main characters are Hal, Stig, Wulf, Ulf, Edvin, Lydia, Thorn, Kloof, Olaf and Constantus. The plot of the story is, when Olaf Stig's dad is guarding Constantus then Constantus gets captured. Justiana Constantus's mother blames Olaf for the kidnapping. So, Olaf goes to his son Stig and Stig's crew (a.k.a it's actually Hal's crew) for help. The conflict of the story is, when the crew and Olaf try to find Constantus. I love all of John Flanagan books and series!If you love pirates, adventure and lots of emotion you would love this book to!

Some of the settings in this book are Charleston South Carolina Emanuel African American Methodist Episcopal, churches, and San Francisco California Park. The characters in this book very from murderers to victims like Dylan Roof who killed nine African Americans claiming they were "trying to take over America." Also, the victims from the Orlando shooting just trying to have a good time with their friends in a nightclub. this book is touching harsh subjects so if you are mature and really care about the subjects, this is a great book for you.

Percy Jackson: the lightning thief is the book I'm reading. The author is rick riordan, the genre is fantasy and mythology, and the setting is in las Vegas Nevada. The Characters are Percy Jackson, Poseidon, Mrs. dodds, Zeus. the conflict of the story is Percy is trying to get the lightning bolt of Zeus but it was in his bag the whole time because Hades set him up with it to make him look bad. he was doing the quest for his dad, Poseidon. Also the plot is trying to prove he is Poseidon's son by going on the quest to get Zueses bolt and fought a bunch of monsters such as Mrs. dodds, Hades, Chiron, and the furies.

Moose dosent like it there because he feels that its unfair that he has to leave his house and all his friends that he was comfortable with. He also feels that he has to live up to his parents expectations he also wants it to go back when he saw his dad every day but know he never sees his dad bc they have him working as a gard when he's not supposed to be. His sister has some mental diseases so he feels he has to protected her. I love this book I red it in 4th grade but I just had to read it again because its so good!!

The conflict is hard but I would have to say it would be "Character Vs. society" as they are poor and cannot afford to pay bills, taxes, and other things. The plot is about the family in their house and half way through, they need to move. They have to stay in their car but Jack and robin still go to school and make friends. All in all, I loved this book, I finished it in only a few days but it is a great book. 8/10.

I recently read an amazing book called Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. It is written in a diary/ letter format, written by Stargirl. Featuring an inquisitive little girl called Dootsie, a pet rat named Cinnamon, a concerned mom, a milkman, a widower called Charles, an agoraphobic named Betty Lou. As well as Alvina, Perry, Arnold, and of course Stargirl. They all live in a rural town in Pennsylvania. This book has many ups and downs, hopes and dreams, fears and love. It accurately portrays the life of a homeschooled highschooler while highlighting some of the problems of our world. This realistic fiction and romance book will make it feel like the book is glued to your hand, it's so hard to put down.

The setting takes place in a 14 year old girls life, Raina. The story involves Raina and her family, and it especially points out her sister, Amara. The family, is going on a road trip to Colorado, and the sisters are at it again with their typical sister arguing. While in Colorado, Raina encounters problems with things like peer pressure and not having space doesn't help her out. She has to deal with all that, meanwhile she feels that her sister is "Stealing her Thunder" and some other #sisterproblems!
