Glory - George bass was originally really adventurous by nature and had met a guy named Matthew Flinders they started to explore the land of “Australia” soon after and it’s coastline. took 18,000 Km to Find the island of Tasmania around Australia and also rescuing convicts and began searching a bit more around the island and its waterways
(note: the island called van diemen's land (tasmania) and they mapped the whole area surrounding the island. Flinders the sailor of the boat named the strait, Bass strait, after George Bass. The discovery of this strait means that ships could save days when sailing to England. Then Bass sailed to South America and was never heard of again after that trip.)

On the coastline of Australia, in a place called Sydney Cove, where few people had explored before the time they explored, They had found an abundance of coal and brought back samples and various other things. This was very nice because then people could heat up their homes or various other reasons, so this was positive. Then they also Found an island on the coastline of Australia called Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) that they found a few convicts that they rescued and they brought them to Australia and went back and found out that it was suitable for a settlement. On the coastline of Australia George Bass brought back coal sample’s and this helped them get a better source of energy or fire. George Bass also found tasmania and brought back 7 convicts which weren’t said what they’re convicted for and this gave information that people could live on the island. In general when explorers colonize an area it usually causes war or conflict between tribes or countries. When explorers colonize another area usually cultures and religion come together and it may stick. When explorers colonize and area the government may change its ways of grouping people or completely changing how things work.

When colonization comes to conflict it’s obviously an negative effect and many people will die and it doesn’t give the poorer or worse economic country freedom. When colonization happens cultures or religion usually christianity or protestant clash together it could be either negative or positive because people may not want to give up there religion and it will fail or they will give up their beliefs and change their ways.
