I joined graphic design because I want to make it my career path. I plan on going to college to Major in Graphic Design/Art and getting a minor in business. I enjoyed doing both semesters of graphic design with Mrs. Carmack, I think it helped me understand how to use photoshop and learn what it means to be able to do graphic design. I think graphic design is important for self expression and helping others achieve what they want with their business/company. A very fun experience for me, because we got to work with real designers and learn from them. Our group learned how to work with the companies palettes and the specific rules to what we can use on our posters. I had to use the blending and outlining tools on this one as well, but, I decided not to blend this one because I decided that it looked better without blending, giving it a more geometric look. My sister was in this program when she was in 3rd-5th grade so I had a better understanding of what they wanted for the T-Shirts.
