2) I have met a group of dedicated new friends who are working in the same industry. I have also gained new insights by interacting with them. This learning journey had given me the opportunity to develop my self confidence to guide and work hand in hand with people across diverse background.

3) Some of the challenges which I faced include the distribution of roles among the team as the participants come from different centres with different schedule. It is also challenging to predict the unforeseen circumstances (e.g. bad weather, failure to observe specific animals at selected learning site(s), failure to book show presentation, site works/constructions, poor traffic etc) that may the learning journey experience.

4) River Wonders is a great location for preschoolers to visit because:

-Most of the walkways are direct and sheltered.

-There are facilities which are safe and children-friendly.

-There are also a variety of animals for children to observe.

-The premise provides ample opportunities for teachers to plan and conduct different types of on-site activities.

. I am honored and grateful to meet my new colleagues from other Centre. We shared ideas during group discussion, get to know each other, helping each other pertaining to any queries. We waited for each other during our tour in the River Safari, laughed and exploring the River Safari together.

. It is a bit of challenging of the humid weather we went through during our visit at the River Safari. My concern was for small kids, teachers need to plan properly to prepare them what are the things they need to bring such as hats, caps, umbrella, water bottles, face towels, although there was a shelter, kids may be exhausted as they need to walk a long way to explore the places.

.Overall, River Safari is a good location for preschoolers for exploration of different types of species, there are many animals, mammals, plants, panda, creatures that they can observe. As for infant, they can observe and look at the fishes in the water, enjoying the breeze, watching the cute panda in (air-conditioned) room. To enhance children's learning about nature, language skills and able to learn about core values of appreciating, loving and caring animals. Thank you Team River Safari :)

Some positive impacts ive experienced is that I get to do this recce with many people from different centres, learning about their point of view and how to plan for the suitable activities for the age group.

Not much of a challenge but realised that children will not be able to ride the boat ride that cost $5 per head.

Alot of assistance and pointers facilitators took note of to remind all of us helped alot in the preparation of the activities.

I am very grateful for your support and patience during my medical leave. I was worried about missing out, but my IF/PG teachers have been incredibly helpful in guiding and explaining everything to me.

In this group photo, everyone was given the opportunity to mingle and work with different group of amazing teachers. I also sense the determination of all the teachers to work as one ☝️.

1.) I have learnt from the sparkle summit that working with new friends that have the same passion it turned out a wonderful experience.

2.) I have given the opportunity to meet new friends and worked together while planning the pre, actual and post activities. I also have the chance to see little panda while enjoying the bamboo leaves and managed to watch the “once upon a quest “.

3.) It was a bit challenging with regards of the humid weather but aside from that it was quite nice place.

Overall experienced was great and fun. It’s my first time in River Safari and I liked the place and I’m intending to bring my daughter there once she will get the chance to come here in Singapore.

2) I am very grateful to have meet good and responsible senior teachers who have been constantly guiding and checking in on us via WhatsApp to ensure we are on track after the learning journey. Checking in on us also helps which gave us a little push to complete our work way before the actual dateline.

3) The N1’s may feel tired and restless due to the long walk in river safari and the humid weather. However, it is a good opportunity to widen the children’s knowledge and for parents and child to bond together in a fun way.
