When he converted to Christianity he feared his fathers reaction. This is a repetition of the theme fear as we see Okonkwo feared being like his dad, and Nwoye feared his dad finding out about his religion.<br><strong>"Okonkwo was was popularly called "Roaming flame"(153)</strong><br>This reveals that Okonkwo is extremely aggressive, being compared to a roaring flame shows how nerve-racking he could be.<br>"<strong>Until the abominate gang was chased out of the village with whips there would be no peace."(158)</strong><br>This exhibits that Okonkwo carries so much hate towards the missionaries and whites that entered into their Ibo society. <br><br></div>]]></description>
