Many types of capital (human, social, cultural, community) are easily accessed through Johnny and Patty in addition to connecting to other types of capital (physical, financial). I gained from listening to Johnny talk about building trust everyday over the years and the grassroots work that continues to be done. Their desire and openness to different perspectives to provide services and collaboration was great and refreshing. Some of the programs highlight community interests and ethnic backgrounds and this is obvious. I can see how the department as a whole has many assets and access to others. I am excited to see how the team uses these points of contact, OR, the resources they offered.
