The Ceremony would begin, with all the community there, and by then Jonas and The Giver would be on their way. searchers would be sent out into the community. She highlights this a lot because of the coulor and how people can’t see coulor, the war so people can’t learn pain etc. I think that it is also it is important because since they can’t have deep feeling they can’t feel for their family. Another reason why importance of memory is important is because they don’t know a lot of stuff and with that they can not be able to take risks and be unique. They all have to be the same person and do thesame thing because they don’t know anything about the past so they have no memory on how to be unique. Jonas has the memorys and now he could be unique and he did do what he wanted he left and did not come back and took Gabe with him.
