I can make my poster more effective within a setting, to add languages from each continent. These words are quite difficult for children and adults to say especially words that are symbolic such as Chinese, Japanese and Arabic, which make it hard to talk in that language. To support the language development of an other language I can add pronunciation to help sounding and blending of words in a foreign language.
Where should your poster be placed in the room and why?
This poster I believe should be placed at the door at each room in a nursery and KS1 Setting. The poster is child friendly as this poster has characters that children can relate to and the character can be found in most countries around the world. Children may see these characters on Television or the children may see dolls or action figures within shops or within their setting.
Which other key words and phrases may be helpful to children?
