         <description><![CDATA[<P>Tv shows and movies didnt have sound so they had piano players, and subtitles. Newspapers, magazines, </P><P>radio and movies all played a role in boosting the profile of sport and</P><P>&nbsp;the sporting giants. The 1920's was a transition period for many sports. </P><P>It wasn't&nbsp;anything like todays athlete's making big money, using steriods.</P><P>&nbsp;some of the stars were babe ruth, Bobby Jones, Jack Dempsey.</P>]]></description>
