         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Susan B. Anthony- originally started as an activist in the Temperance movement but decided that she wasn't being taken seriously because she was a woman, so she started taking part in the Women's Suffrage Movement by giving powerful lectures at rallies.<br><br>2. Alice Paul- On March 3, 1913, Alice Paul and  other members of the National American Women Suffrage Association coordinated an enormous suffrage parade that just so happened to be at the same time and distract from President Wilson’s inauguration. More marches and protests followed. She along with many other women involved were thrown in jail, but released very soon. Her stubborn nature led to women finally getting equal rights as men when President Wilson said he would support women and their right to vote.</div>]]></description>

The White House, mostly President Wilson, became the Women's Party's main target as they needed his support to receive all rights<br>3. It started to happen when abolitionists were fighting to end slavery because they believed every human being has equal rights, which created the idea that women should not be discriminated against as well.<br>4. The movement started in New York, and most protests, rallies, and marches continued to take place in New York although they did march in Washington D.C. in hopes of getting the attention of the federal government many times as well.</div>]]></description>
