I learned new concepts from historical background to new strategies and acknowledge that those working with kids need to be aware. Also, I realize that I have to correct specific criteria to understand children and parents. Honestly, I have been quite stressed with midterms and all papers for other classes. However, I enjoy taking this class. Somehow, this class does not stress me out or makes me feel overwhelmed. Having the professor take the time and have enthusiasm when teaching class makes a real difference. When going into breakrooms, it can be awkward at first, yet, once talking or chatting, I learned and understood others' perspectives and points of view—different lenses.
Another thing is the flexibility to turn in assignments or answer the discussion. Discussion response has allowed me to meet classmates and interact even though we are not face-to-face.
