Descriptive statistics focus on summarizing and describing the main features of a dataset through numerical measures like mean and median, or graphs and tables. Inferential statistics, on the other hand, use a sample of data to make inferences, predictions, or generalizations about a larger population from which the sample was taken.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>FEATURES:</mark></strong></p><p>Statistics are a collection of numerical facts (an aggregate of facts) that are collected in a systematic order for a predetermined purpose,expressed in a numerical form, are comparable to each other,and are affected by multiple causes.These characteristics ensure that the data can be accurately collected, analyzed, and used for purposes such as decision-making and policy formation.</p>]]></description>
