It is also not messy with a lot of information scattered on there which makes it look professional and more appealing to look at. The mid shot also is a good shot to use as it will only reveal some information about the film which is good to keep the audience in suspense. 

Also I prefer the second magazine because it is conventional and seems more appealing.
