How do you increase your vertical jump?

One of the best ways to increase your vertical jump is to work on your squat exercises like single leg squats. Four of the best exercises to improve your vertical jump are jump rope, 4 corners, single leg 4 corners, slow motion squats. Another way to increase your vertical jump is to start weight training. You also want to do proper stretching because it increases the range in your jumping muscles. you also might want to get dumbbells and start weight training.

(Your maximum heart rate in beats per minutes is based on how old you are -- it's 220 minus your age.) For most people, the American College of Sports Medicine recommends a target heart rate while exercising of 50% to 85% of your maximum heart rate.

When you exercise, your heart speeds up to meet your body's energy needs. If you know your target heart rate, you can make sure you're exercising hard enough to get a good workout, but not too hard to strain your heart.

Target Heart Rate Target Heart Rate (THR) is the most commonly used method for measuring exercise intensity—mostly because it’s easy to do and it’s also precise. Your THR is actually a zone or range that your heart rate should fall within to ensure that you are training aerobically. Training below your target zone may not be intense enough to burn sufficient calories or improve your cardiovascular fitness

To stay in the zone, check your heart rate regularly while you exercise. You can feel your heartbeats in several ways:

Place your fingers lightly but firmly over the inside of your wrist.
Place your fingers lightly on your neck, just below the angle of your jaw.
Place your palm on your chest over your heart.

What are the pros and cons of drinking energy drinks or fortified waters?

A con for energy drink is in a monster there contains grams of sugar in at least four forms. Also there is a concern that energy drinks are replacing milk and all the vitamins that are needed. The pros about energy drinks are that they contain vitamin B. They also give us energy. Fortified waters have some cons and once again a sugar is one of them. each bottle contains about 33 grams of sugar. Fortified water isn't the worst thing its much healthier than soda.
