My name is Dakota Noland, I'm a student in our SHSolutions class here at Sycamore High School. You may or may not be familiar with the class, which is understandable due to it being a relatively new course. Many people ask me what the purpose of our class is. Well, to keep it short and sweet, our class is a student-run collaborative work environment that provides technology solutions to the Sycamore community. We have a help desk setup for the staff of the building to write into if they are experiencing any issues with the technology around the building, and us, the students go around to those teachers to help resolve the issues they're experiencing. So if you're ever having any issues what so ever please feel free to contact us on our help desk email. It's always good to ask for help, no matter how big or small the issue is. WE ARE HERE TO HELP, IT’S OUR JOB. Don't ever feel like you're being a bother, regardless of the situation we will do our best to help come to a solution. Our team is available throughout most of the day, I'm personally here to help 1st and 6th bell. One of the biggest things I've noticed when helping teaches or staff in general is that they become apologetic. There’s no need to apologize for not fully understanding the technology around you and how it works, that's not in your job description. So if you ever need anything, just send in a help desk notice.
