         <title>Tragic Hero - Character Portrayal</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Both the origninal and Graphic Novel portray the character of Macbeth in relatively the same manor. He is very much a villian character with ill intent towards all of the others in the story. However he in both texts meets an untimely death as a result of this behavior. In the graphic novel you can more clearly see the almost crazed look in Macbeths eyes as he challenges Macduff. Although he is an all-mighty god that cannot be killed. The description of Macbeth being killed in the orginial however adds the grit and weight of the main character being killed off that the picture of the graphic novel do not weigh up to. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The conflict of the story involves the final battle between Macbeth and Macduff.  Within the graphic novel the fight is expressed through the illustrations and almost no words. However within the original, because it was written to be a play the violence and fight does not exist. They fight until they are off-stage, when Macduff eventually returns with Macbeth's head. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As the resolution of Macbeth, Malcome is crowned as the rightful king. In both versions of the story words of encouragement are shared. The graphic novel expresses the triumph over the fight through the yells of the soldiers shown in the pictures. The orignial however did not show any joys and it is just implied as a joyus time.</div>]]></description>
