I experienced the friendly, most encouraging, resourceful and helpful group of professors and classmates. Not that I would expect anything less in a room full of student teachers. It was a great environment to be in and it felt like a safe place to be. I hope my other semesters I have experience as great of a group as I did this time.

This caused many issues that i did not have to deal with before however, this is what i believe i need to improve on and what went wrong. For many reasons I was not able to make it into class this semester causing my attendance to be terrible. I regret missing so much class as I enjoyed and learned so much every day. My communication was not the best and this had to do with my mental health, schedule outside of school and life getting in the way. This is not something that I am used to and it was hard to juggle. Next semester I am planning on a better year and better communication.

They were all extremely helpful in getting me prepared to teach in the future.A lot of my assignments consisted of practice assignments such as practice presenting a lesson or practicing making a lesson plan. I found a lot of my assignments to also be self reflective, such as my personal philosophy of teaching, philosophy of classroom management, philosophy of education, my literacy story as well as this assignment. This helped me understand my own view on education. I've learned so many tools in such a short amount of time to help me become a great teacher.

I first have an overall list with all my courses and all the assignments for each class so I can see what I have done and what I have not done over the whole semester. I also use a day planner religiously. As well as a day planner I also write physical lists daily. To make sure I complete everything I need to.

A student will not learn from a teacher they do not like and so it is very important to show your students respect and interest in their lives outside of the classroom. 

 A good lesson is engaging, relevant and informative. If it doesn't meet even one of these traits a lesson will not work and the students will not understand or learn what they should.

A teacher does much more than stand in front of a class and lecture, they play important roles in the students lives.

Teachers are role models inside and outside of the classroom.

I feel I have the right set of tools to have a welcoming, relevant and engaging classroom for students. Caring for the students as well as teaching is important to me. I understand every student is different and I need to get to know each of my students to have a successful classroom.  I need to improve my speaking skills in front of a class. I have a quiet voice and often feel like I'm yelling when I speak. I need to work on planning ahead with my assignment and lesson plans. I also need to work on communication with my group mates as well as my professors. I know that I had a hard semester for many reasons but I should have made communication a priority during this time.
