Incumbents usually have an easier time winning reelection because the people already know them and know their politics. Also, this district has voted for Trump in the 2016 election. However, the polls have been very close and are not always reliable, as shown in the 2016 presidential election. Also, it is expected that many Republican districts will flip in this election and this district could be one of those cases.
