I recently took a Franciscan leadership pilgrimage to Italy with leaders in the medical field and education field. I struggled to see myself as a leader outside of my classroom. I am taking this course because a main focus of my job is to coach teachers, staff, and students and although I have some experience in this area, it is important to me that  I continue to develop my skills so that I can be an effective leader for those whom I serve.  I have two young boys, ages 6 & 4 and they keep me very busy.  The picture of the pumpkins reminds me that all of our students are different, but also, that they all need care and nurturing to grow.
