Coronavirus, most popularly known as Covid-19, is a viral infection caused by Orthocoronavirinae, an airborne pathogen. Orthocoronavirinae uses spikey proteins on its surface to attach to healthy cells. Once attached to a cells surface it uses ACE2 receptors to enter cells. Once in the cell coronavirus takes control and eventually kills cells too. (more info)

"Effect of High vs Low Doses of Chloroquine Diphosphate as Adjunctive Therapy for Patients Hospitalized With Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) Infection: A Randomized Clinical Trial" (Citation)
The findings of this study show that high Chloroquine(CQ) doses are correlated with higher instances of death in critically ill COVID-19 patients. Lethality of critically ill Covid-19 patients decreased as the dosage of CQ decreased.

Treatment
There is no cure at the moment for someone who has an active Coronavirus infection.
There are some treatments to help with symptoms that people experience when infected and help prevent people being critically affected.
You can get vaccinations for Coronavirus but they are meant to be preventative.
