Analyse: Wie war es den Kritikern des DDR-Regimes möglich, das etablierte Bild des Kommunismus (Sozialismus) zu hinterfragen? Carlo sucht also nach Ursachen für das zustandekommen der friedlichen Revolution.
Sachurteil: Welche Rolle spielte es, dass die Demonstranten zu verstehen begannen, dass das etablierte System der DDR nicht wirklich auf den Theroien Rosa Luxenburgs fußten?
Wertung: Eine Wertung, in der er sich Carlo auf die Gegenwart bezieht, wird nicht fomuliert. Es ist aber zu vermuten, dass sich Carlo durchaus fragt, welchen Einfluss es haben könnte, wenn man heute beispielsweise das Verständis von Demokratie der "Vordenker" mit der heutigen Umsetzung in der Bundesrebublik vergleicht?

Nach Jeismann würde Carlo also über ein elaboriertes Geschichtsbewusstein verfügen. (Auch zu sehen daran, dass Carlo über diverse "Fähigkeiten", "Fertigkeiten" und "Erkenntnisse" verfügt.)
