They also wore clothes that I would never wear because they weren't comfortable to me. I guess that because of that, they didn't like me, so they would tell me crude jokes and would think that I was oblivious to them hating me, so they were super passive aggressive to me. I found out that they didn't know that I knew they didn't like me in the end of 8th grade. To be honest, I would have rather wanted them to tell me they hated me straight out because I already knew that they did, and I genuinely didn't (and don't) care. I'm like a Janis from Mean Girls in that way. It also sucks because I'm a hard-core theater kid, and theater is supposed to be a sanctuary for outcasts because people don't like them in school, but I have a toxic theater experience because all of the "popular" kids did theater.
