from the research that I did I found that Elle magazine had a very large female audience subscribed to the magazine but the male percentage who were visiting the website was a larger percentage than the men that were subscribed to the magazine. Also there was a large number of readers that in the age range of 18-34. 90% of the readers were women who read the magazine. Also the magazine relates mostly to the class systems of A B and C1 this shows it is mostly more middle class that read the magazine. Also a-lot of people who attend college read the magazine this may not be because they will buy the clothes but because they like to look at the different clothes.

Magazine Evaluation

I started my evaluation by looking at three fashion magazines I chose Grazia look and vogue. I chose these magazines because they are all from the same genre but they are generally aimed towards different types of readers. I looked inside the magazines and found that the cheaper magazine had less content and was more cheap feeling. Also the adverts inside the cheaper magazines were all for cheap brands like Asda or if they were for the more expensive brands they were adverts for aftershave and perfume. i found that the Grazia magazine was a lot thicker than the look magazine but the pages were thinner this is because they want to have more content but don't want to have to spend more money. In the vogue magazine. i think that thew target audience of my magazines is females at the age range of mid 20@s to mid 30's

What I would change about the Vox Pops

If I was going to change anything I would use a tripod to reduce the amount of jogging also I would use a more quiet area to reduce the amount of background noise. I would probably choose an area that is sound proofed and away from the toilets to not have the noise of the hand dryers in the background. with the questions I would maybe have them simplified to make sure that the person who is being interviewed knows what they are being asked. with the responses I think they were good but I think that we should of asked the people if they knew anything about the certain topic before starting to record them answering the questions because this caused long pauses while the person tried to think if they knew anything about the topic. if the person doesn't know anything about the topic then they shouldn't be interviewed because their answer wont mean anything because if they don't know about the topic they will probably guess. also I think that we should of had more than just the person who was being interviewed. we should of had the interviewer as well so the person wasn't just looking off of the camera sot and was looking at a person who the audience can see.

with ours I feel that the people who were being interviewed answered the questions well and for most of the most part you could hear the peoples voices clearly.

Looking back on my unit 2 work if i was to do it again i would get more questionnaire's completed so that i would have more information so i have a more valid information also i would have more questions for my focus group and vox pops. I have presented my graph in this way because its clear and it shows all of the information in an easy to read way. My research has impacted on my design because people said that they like a bold title and a big picture as a background. i made the picture relevant to the magazine because people will only read the magazine if the front cover pulls them in. Also i did a primary research analyses because it shows the main information which changed the design of my magazine

Barb, Rajar, Asa and NRS are all companies to do with advertising barb is a company that stores data from TV shows in UK and puts the information in to different forms of information EG percentages. this makes the information easy to understand for companies or people who are interested in the information. BARB stands for Broadcasters' Audience Research Board. NRS are a company that takes in a lot of data from different magazine companies and displays the information they display information such as the percentage of people in a certain country that read a certain type of magazine. This is helpful to me because i can look at what countries will be more likely to read my magazine over other countries. Rajar is a company which takes in data about listeners on radios they are partly owned by the bbc
