Quizlet is an online program that is used for learning/studying for students. It was originally designed for students to make online flashcards. It has since grown into a platform with multiple different tools and games for students to use and learn from. It is also very easy to get all of students signed up for Quizlet so that teachers can monitor and encourage students to use Quizlet in the classroom

There is a matching game in Quizlet and I find it to be a fun and helpful game. I think that this game could be good to use in the classroom because if all the students are registered in the teachers class they can compete with one another. A sense of competition can motivate students to want to learn the content. One tip for teachers when using Quizlet in the classroom is to ask students to play the matching game for an assignment or homework grade.

The "learn" function of Quizlet is a great tool for students who think they have studied the flashcards enough and are ready to put their knowledge to the test. The "learn" function is made up of matching, spelling, multiple-choice, true or false, and flashcards. Students are also able to get their results as they go so that they can decide if they need to spend more time on that term. I find this tool to be useful because it allows students to test their knowledge without some sort of penalty. Students can work at their own pace and decide when they are ready to be tested on the content. Teachers can use this in the classroom as a group activity. When and if teachers were to do this they could see where their students are in understanding the content.

Gravity is another great game within Quizlet. The game is based in space and a term/definition pops up as an asteroid and students have to type the matching term/definition. I found this game useful because it is engaging and interactive for students rather than just matching or testing. With this game, students can associate the terms with something fun and hopefully something that will allow them to learn/master the content.

The test tool is a great tool because students can customize the test. If the students know what the actual quiz or test is going to look like they can set their Quizlet test to look similar to the actual test with the types of questions. Something that I found very interesting about the test function is that students can control whether they can see the results after every question or at the end of the test. This is another great tool because it allows students to take as many practice tests as they want and it is completely customizable. Teachers can use this in the classroom if technology is available for practice for the quiz or exam.
