E: Although the main population of Singapore was well managed, the migrant population was hit much worse. Thousands of migrant workers were left vulnerable.

Thousands were infected with a disease that had left the entire world reeling. This, coupled with the fact that migrant workers did not have as good an immune system as most people meant that they were genuinely terrified for themselves. And the wearing of mask is also necessary when buying essential needs. And if caught not wearing one, you will also be fined. Repetitive offends will cause the fine amount to increase.
