1. What psychological factors can contribute to Winston's aberration to the party?
2. Can the continuous use of Newspeak actually reduce human consciousness and suppress ideas (reducing the risk of thinking anti-party thoughts) or is it simply a different means of communicating the same opinions?
3. Is it possible that the citizens of Oceania can be enlightened to break free of the brainwashing of the party?
4. Is the Party possibly forcing a certain amount of people to think anti-party thoughts just so they can further their own views and scare the public. For instance, they have public hangings and verbal confessions to the members of Oceania who disobey the party. What if they were intentionally programmed in order to disobey. What if The Party has always been in control, and has your every move checked before you do it? Or even forces you to make the move, all the while you're thinking that it's your conscious self, but in reality, you've already been manipulated by the party?
5. (Theory) What if the people that become "unpersons" are actually people who have propelled to another level of consciousness. Maybe they end up on another planet or in another country. Perhaps they want you to think anti-party thoughts because that's how they weed out the weak from the strong minded. The people who can think on another level and not be affected in the face of constant propaganda and oppression could be the ones who have it the best, and maybe the Thought Police are the people to ascend you?
