Hey! I am Alfonso Raphael G. Maglantay, and you may call me Fons. I'm currently 16 years old, and I was born on July 29, 2007; which in numerical terms, turns into 07/29/07. This for me is aesthetically pleasing to the eye which makes me happy!

I am a learner of XI - Owen, taking STEM Pre-Science. One of my aspirations in life is to work in the medical field and serve patients, which is why I'm taking this strand. A fact about me is I enjoy music, gaming, as well as dancing! Also, I have a pet cat living with me here in Davao named Mo, and three cats in my hometown namely: Sundae, Edward, and Gamay.

This is Mo! She is currently 6 months old, and she is actually the daughter of my other cat Sundae! We brought her here in Davao so we will have a cute and little companion here to bond with. She is a really kind cat, and she wants cuddles all the time. She is always hungry, yet she is also really picky with food which does not make sense to me. My favorite thing about her is her collar; it has a bell, and a pink little ribbon which I find so cute.

This picture is taken from my Instagram feed. As the photo shows, I love traveling. I really enjoy and treasure every moment I encounter whenever I go on a trip. It excites me when I think of explorations and getting to feel new experiences. Further, I especially love food-hopping and taking pictures with aesthetic sceneries as these always make my day.

This is a K-Pop song called I AM by IVE. This song talks about being apologetically you, and it resonates with me. I also enjoy the unique tunes with it, which makes me excited all the time. A fun fact is this is actually my most played song on Spotify, with more than 300 plays!

This is also a K-Pop song called Come See Me by AOA. From this, I think it's evident that I enjoy K-Pop. 😄 I enjoy listening and dancing to this as it makes me confident. When I listen to this, I always think that I am in a scenario wherein I am strutting while being dashing.

I absolutely love Studio Ghibli films, and this poster shown above happens to be my favorite one out of all of them. "The Secret World of Arrietty" talks about the world between tiny people and their human hosts. I just love the soft sceneries, and the story lead me to tears.

This movie may be one of the best films of the decade. It talks about a lot of social issues and statuses, especially the social divide. Combined with its cinematography or how they took the scenes, this movie is something that I would definitely recommend to other people.

Rupaul's Drag Race is a series that I am invested in. It is a reality show wherein several drag queens compete through different challenges to get the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar." It is great entertainment to me, and I enjoy tuning in especially with new updates.

Whenever I want to play with someone, I always go for Overcooked. This game is a console game wherein players will prepare the orders from customers with a running time limit. This game always brings me joy, excitement, and a little bit of nervousness. I believe this really is a must-try for others!

Super Mario Party is also a console multiplayer game wherein players compete to the finish line, but they need to traverse multiple mini-games to get there. This game also brings me joy and excitement, as I enjoy playing with other people. It is a great opportunity to form a bond with the people around you, hence I think it is a really good game.

It Takes Two is also a console two-player game wherein two humans are turned into a doll through a magic spell. They then need to conquer multiple obstacles to get back their lives. This game is also really fun for me. It also requires critical thinking skills from both players, which brings me enjoyment.

It is natural to a person to feel different emotions. And, it happens to be that we could use media content to rather back up the certain emotion. Whenever I feel sad, I think of and use media content to make me feel better. Whenever I'm happy, I also use it to support my emotion. Hence, I like these media as they have the ability to fulfill my satisfaction. They also act as a form of entertainment to me, which I can use every time I feel bored. Moreover, it also helps me discover more about my self the more I consume these media. Overall, it ignites a fire within me in a sense that it makes me want to explore more.

Though media may greatly contribute to one's sense of self, it may also affect one negatively. I always remember the saying "everything is good, but in moderation." I greatly believe in this as I think that if we utilize anything in the right way, it will serve its purpose. However, if we go overboard with it, negative effects may occur. In terms of media content, yes, we can use it to our own satisfaction. However, it is possible that we may dive too deep into that satisfaction, which causes negative effects such as behavior change and mental health problems, or worse, addiction. Therefore, we should only use it from time to time to avoid all these negative happenings from happening, and maximize its effectiveness that it is supposed to give.
