When I watched the movie, I understood that Nims is very dedicated man that would do anything to reach his life goal. He even would leave his wife and ill mother; it says a lot about him. Leaving your wife and your family is selfish, because in Nepal the youngest son in a family is the one who should help. But Nims the youngest in the family didn’t help, instead he focused on beating his goal of climbing the 14 tallest mountains in the world in 7 months. For many people climbing the 14 of the tallest mountains would be a very scary but also exciting story, but for the movie got boring. It’s because I don’t understand any of it, I didn’t feel connected or understanding of when Nims struggled and was close to losing everything he fought for.

Nims is a man that don´t give up. Nims is a man that has a lot of passion and ambition. I think it´s cool that he had a plan and executed it. He was strong and he never gave up, even though the sponsor and the odds where stacked against him he mange to pull through. He managed to climb all 14 peaks and showed the world that everything is possible. 

He is special in the way that he never gives up and how he has the mentally to keep on going even though it´s hard and things are looking dark. He is also special in the way that he can breathe longer at higher attitude than a normal person. He is not really selfish because he had a dream and a plan and he managed to execute it. He is a person that helps others to, he said in the movie that he would never leave a man behind. People can maybe look at him and say that he is selfish, but they don´t see the bigger picture. He is a man with no fear and he likes to prove people wrong. 

I have learn from him that u never give up. If u have a plan/dream chase it and do it.

Nims is a man of passion and ambition and he sett his life on the line just to prove to people that nothing is impossible even if someone tells you that it is. He wanted to prove the world wrong when they told him that his mission was impossible to complete, he also wanted the climbers in Nepal to get some recognition for the hard work they do.  

I think Nims is a kind but selfish man. To leave your wife for many months with no insurance that you will come back alive is selfish, but even if he is selfish, he climbed back up a mountain to save a man from certain death. I mean you must be someone special to do that. He even worked for the most hardcore military group in the country. Only a special and selfish man like Nims would do something like this, I think the whole operation impossible is an extraordinary event in history.  

I think I can learn about motivation because I never really have any motivation to do anything, and I think that its important to be motivated to do a good job at anything. Discipline is also something he is very good at. He is strong mentally and physically. I think that half of the mission was mentally challenging. One thing is to climb the mountains but it's another to do it in a so short period of time and be kept from the one he loves. 

The following movie 14 peaks: nothings is impossible is about a Nepalese adventurer called Nimsdai Purja who is going to summit all 14 mountains in under 7 months. The reason he is doing this is that he wanted to break the previous record, which was over 7 years, prove all the people who doubted him wrong, and he wanted to challenge his limits.

Nimsdai adventure has to be one of the most badass stories I have ever heard because of how he did it and how strong belief he had in himself. Nimsdai has many qualities as a human but for me, the best thing about him is that he fears nothing. The main motivation that drove him was also that he wanted to show the world that nothing is impossible. I admire his dedication and mentality because I believe everything is in the head. To do something like this you have to be special and selfish because an average human being can’t do something like Nimsdai did, it takes strong willpower, dedication, and commitment. You must be selfish to survive on these “death mountains”. Being special is someone who is better, greater, or otherwise different from what the usual is. A selfish person is a person who only thinks about themselves. as they describe in the film that it is important to be special and selfish to make the project possible. The movie is teaching us that nothing is impossible and sometimes you must be selfish to make your biggest dreams come true. Nims also says in the movie -Giving up is not in the blood, sir. It's not in the blood so it is also teaching us to not give up even do it is hard you have to stay disciplined to make it possible. And I think I have a lot to learn from this movie and Nims's way to think.

 

My opinion of Nims and his adventure is that he did a cool thing, but that he was very selfish. To climb 14 mountain that short of time is amazing, and for me impossible. Nims had the guts to leave his life on pause and go on the adventure with people he didn’t know at first. 

 

I think he is very selfish. He had a dream, and yes you should follow your dreams, but he had a wife at home waiting. He didn´t think how the wife would feel. She was alone and waiting on him to come back, and hope that’s he will be alive. The stress and how scared she might have been. In the documentary I felt that he often was boast about how amazing and good he is. Nims is special in a good way. He has the ability to breathe with little amount of oxygen, and he can put away his feelings. For example, when he slipped down the mountain and he saw a rope and grabbed it. A normal human would just have panic and slipped all way down and died.

 

If I could learn one thing from Nims, would it be: if you want to do something don’t give up! You need to fight for what you want and never give up. 

 

My opinion about the movie is that I think it's interesting because it's about people that wants to do something special with their life, wants experience that nobody has done before, and who means something for them. I always wanted to do something special in my life, some of the goals is to travel around the world and see what other countries and cultures can give me. But I also have some crazy stuff to do like skydiving, bungee jump and go on Mount Everest. This is some of the goals I want to experience until I can't do anything at all. So, I say to live your life full out and don’t think about the things you can't do but the things you can if you give all you have.  

The experience he gives us when we see the movie is that everything is possible if you just believe in yourself and have a goal.  

The documentary came out in 2021 and is about project Possible, a plan by Nepali high-altitude climber Nirmal Purja to climb all the worlds 14 highest peaks with an altitude greater than 8000m. And his team and they try to climb all 14 eight thousand peaks within a record time of less than 7 months. 

In the movie he shows us many special sides of him, you can see that he has experience a lot of things like being poor when he was a little kid, war, shooting and got shoot. But he always come back and wants to do something new after all, and that give us some thoughts about him. That he is a person that does not give up. So, he is a very special person.  

But you can also see a little bit of selfishness. If we talk about his family, you can see that he thinks always about what he wants and about things that is important for him, and we never hear about the people who is around him and he cares about, and what they have experience. His family didn’t want him to go on this 7-month expedition, because they were afraid if something happens, and they didn’t want to lose him. And he just says that it's going to be okay, and he can do this, nothing is impossible. 

 

He proves to everyone that everything is possible and you just have to work to make it happen.

Her family said they won't let him take the challenge, because they were so afraid if something happened. But he doesn’t listen to them and take it anyway. Her girlfriend has learned to try to not think about everything that could happen, and just trust that he could do this.

I like movies like this because it's so interesting, and we could follow the process with him and watch how it goes throw this. 

We also learn a lot of movies like this,  especially for us young people, who do not always believe in ourselves. And that everything is possible even if people around don’t think you can do this. 

We have to learn from her motivation too, he never gives up even the things falls apart, and it feels like you gonna die, he always said “Im not gonna die today, maybe tomorrow, but not today”

This adventure was a mind-blowing mission. Something I would never think is possible. With this Nims shows others that your mind isn’t always right. You can think something is impossible when its just difficult. What he did was intense, but also good. In the beginning, this may have seemed like something dumb, but he believed in himself and inspired others too. I think this is a good story. To lock your mind towards your goal and ignore the fear who tells you to quit. 

The most of us are afraid to try out new things. Especially when its something scary. We let our fear take over our goal. We may start on something else less scary and try to forget. In this situation Nims is special. He beat down these thoughts and are willing to do everything to reach his goal. He isn’t just thinking of doing this, he actually do it. He takes his chance. But when he’s risking so much, even his own life. Even though he had many people around that loves him, such as family, friends and a girlfriend. He is quite selfish in doing so. Because the chance of dying is very high. They would have been very worried. And if he died, they would be left with the pain. 

I can learn to not always listen to what my mind says, because often my heart says otherwise. And to not let anything get in the way of my goals. Because its better to fight for your goal that to be afraid.
