I feel so many feelings in any given moment, sometimes it is hard to find peace in my own head. I have spent quarantine trying to find some quiet, sometimes succeeding, other times just lucky to have someone who holds me tight until it passes. I know I cannot be alone in this. I am here to tell you that I am scared too. I'm overwhelmed too. I am not always okay. But I have to believe God is with me because he has made me resilient through traumatic events of the past. I have to believe that this coronavirus is a challenge from God for us to appreciate what we have; to appreciate each other more. I have to believe that the protest, although heartbreaking to watch the riots and looting, needed to happen to send a message to the world that we have an opportunity to become better humans if we just listen! I pray God's love can be shown in the coming days and that we can let our guard down and allow ourselves to love and express love more openly, despite lack of leadership in our nation. I pray to no longer worry myself sick from all the chaos.
