René Unmei Jensen is the person who found the cure for cancer. She grew up in Denmark and is still living there. She started her education at Aarhus University at the age of 18. She already knew, when she was 6 years old that fighting cancer was the way to go. As her beloved grandmother, Birthe Jensen, with whom she shared a deep bonding, was struggling with a rare form of leukemia, she decided she would dedicate her future to save cancer-struck patient’s lives, and find the cure for cancer, and maybe even save grandma-Jensen. But as the fiery hope and passion grew in René’s heart, her ill grandmother became less functioning and was hospitalized. At that point, Miss Unmei Jensen was, with great fear for losing her grandmother, driven to seek the cure and do as much good as she could. But as the possibility for the cure to work suddenly seemed brighter, her grandmother’s state of health worsened, and her life sadly ended only two weeks before Miss Unmei Jensen’s cure for cancer was perfected. Even though René didn’t get to save her grandmother Birthe Jensen.
