Is ethos because the emotions of the speaker persuade the audience with a metaphor to show and understand how this is one bad trait of modern-day relationships. It is that the speaker doesn't want a serious relationship between the speaker and the partner, but rather just have her in my caddy, meaning just go for a ride and do whatever with no strings attached.
