I went home exited that I would get to play video games and watch Youtube for the next 2 weeks. After two days of doing what i planned, my family hops in the car and drives for 4 hours to stay at my grandma's house for the rest of the break. She didn't have wifi or a console so I was pretty frustrated. Also I'd like to clarify I don't hate my grandma or visiting her, I love spending time with her, this was just an example to show how fast my plans went south.

When he first got there, I didn't go over to see him since I'd never even met him but eventually my mom told me to go hang out with him. So I did and we became friends pretty quickly and I enjoyed hanging out with him. We played together for about three days straight and I decided to take a break since I didn't want to smother the guy. Unfortunately the day I decide to take a break was also his last day there and he had to leave.

Then after those days pass by, I realize I have a week until school starts and I've done nothing that amounted to anything. Then you try and enjoy what time you have left but can't because of the sinking feeling you have knowing your days are numbered.

This has to do with the theme because instead of enjoying my time day by day, I let it pass me by and wasted it.
