This stage focuses on infants up to 18 months where the main conflict is trust vs. mistrust. Infants learn to trust their caregivers for basic needs. As the infants senses grow, they will start to recognize their environment as familiar. The infants get more adventurous and they will be able to learn to overcome fears like separation from their parents and being exposed to new things. Arielle was loved by everyone and she trusted easily. This helped her to be less fearful of new things around her. "Early experiences are the key" (Martorell, 2023, p. 150).

During early childhood, children aged 18 months to 3 years face the autonomy vs. shame and doubt stage. They begin to learn about their independence. If parents encourage this stage, children become more independent; if not, the children will develop feelings of shame and doubt. "Toddlers need adults to set appropriate limits." (Martonell, 2023, p. 157). She was a really independent baby, she understood some limits but that didn't stop her from being more out there and trying new things.

This stage revolves around initiative vs. guilt.Occurring between ages 3 and 5 Children start to assert power and control over their world through directing play and other social interactions. When parents are way over controlling, they can lead the child to develop a sense of guilt. Children during this stage discover more important and meaningful roles through symbolic play, and they can start to identify their own role in the world. "Children balance the urge to pursue goals with reservation about doing so". (Martonell, 2023, p. 210). Even though her personality changed a little after the separation of her parents and the new addition of her sister to the family, she showed other highlights in her personality, she was already an independent child and that helped her to be more sure of herself. She took initiative with helping around the house and helping her grandmother or me but still was a little shy.

In the industry vs. inferiority stage, children aged 6 to 11 years strive to achieve competence and skill in various activities. This stage is one of the most decisive from a social point of view. Children start to develop genuine interest in learning and in facing challenges. For children to pass this stage easier, we can direct them towards clear reachable goals, and specific limits. "A major determinant of self-esteem is Children's view of their capacity for productive work". (Martonell, 2023, p. 275). In this stage Arielle became more shy and her goals became mixed with what was expected of her, so instead of being the older sibling she became the helping hand. Giving her a sense of inferiority.

Adolescence is marked by the identity vs. role confusion stage, where teenagers work to find a sense of self and personal identity. Creating an identity is one of the best goals in a child's life. In this stage teens doubt everything they have experienced and learned before. Also with all the changes they go through during this stage creates some personality crisis. "Adolescents seek to develop a coherent sense of self." (Martonell, 2023, p. 336). As she grows I think she will face some obstacles in rediscovering her personality, but giving her past experience she will grow to be her best self.

Young adulthood features the intimacy vs. isolation stage, where individuals aged 19 to 40 seek to form intimate, loving relationships. Failure to create these bonds can lead to feelings of isolation. This is the stage of decision making and challenges to obtain stability. During this stage whoever is able to overcome conflict, it will be able to easily obtain intimacy and establish connections and bonds with others.

"The arrival of a new family member involves sleepless nights and harried days." (Martonell, 2023, p. 33). New family, new friends, new relationships can be hard and if they become overwhelming or too stained for someone it can lead to isolation. During this stage she will probably struggle a little with creating bonds and relationships but with the right direction she will be able to. Probably starting with people with similar personalities.

Stage 7: Adulthood (40-65 years): Generativity vs. Stagnation

The generativity vs. stagnation stage characterizes adults aged 40 to 65. Individuals strive to create or nurture things that will outlast them, often by having children or creating positive changes benefiting others. Failure results in a feeling of being stuck, not being able to move forward. The person that obtains generativity will show interest in taking care and guide others based on their experiences. If they fail to do so they can develop a sense of disconnection and disinterest for the future. "Successful resolution of one crisis puts the person in a particularly good position to address the next crisis."(Martonell, 2023, p. 13). In this stage she will learn from her past and create a wonderful life for herself, with a family if she chooses and moving forward from past experiences.

Stage 8: Maturity (65 to death): Integrity vs. Despair

This final stage, occurring at age 65 to death, involves reflection on life. Everything depends on how the other stages developed. A grown person that is able to reach the integrity of themselves, is who accepts their past and all the experiences that they have been through. But when a person lives in despair, it is a person that struggles against past failures and not focusing on present things. " They are either typical events that happen at a typical time of life". (Martonell, 2023, p. 8). She will be strong and kind hearted, learned from her past and used that knowledge to accept who she is and live the rest of her life in peace with herself and her familiy.
