She has been canoeing since she was 8 years old in the Luxtanam Club in Mérida.

Her first achievements were regional, repeatedly winning the JUDEX and Extremadura championships.

At national level she has also won multiple gold, silver and bronze medals. In modalities as different as 3,000 metres, 1,000 metres, 500 metres and 200 metres. 

Teresa encourages us to do sport and even better if it is canoeing!
