3 Topics on what Machiavelli thought

1) Machiavelli would have thought that Mao Zedong killed too many people. Machiavelli would have claimed that because Mao Zedong killed so many people that people feared him so much that he would end up being hated by the citizens of China.
2) despite being a murderer of many, Mao Zedong managed to be respected by the people of china even long after his life. His ability to be a monster and let still have the favor of the people would be applauded by Machiavelli. In the Beijing 2008 Olympics, Mao was honored and several buildings were dedicated in his name. His popularity lives on and his name will always be a symbol of the chinese republic and their accomplishments.
3)Machiavelli would have thought that Mao was successful in working his way from the bottom and slowly gaining power until he became ruler. He used the philosophy of that fear is greater than love. Also used his intelligence and political prowess to make sure that no one would get in his way and did not let other people influence his ideas of how things should be run
